Case Study: Tesla Motors

Interiors at Tesla Motors have evolved significantly from their start-up days using IKEA tables and refurbished products. As the company grew, so did their need for highly functional, technology friendly, and ergonomically correct furniture products. Oh, and the products had to look the part of a Tesla-branded workspace. The Enwork Studio team collaborated with Tesla Workplace and MBH Architects to design a desk and storage that utilized innovative materials and construction methods to achieve ideal design aesthetic and functionality. The final design uses powder-coated metal cabinet construction and thermo-foil wrapped components to create a seamless look. All technology and electric height-adjustable components are hidden and fully integrated within the product.
